common one, was that you judged a book by its cover. 2nd, you properly have not yet met a real golfer, or, excuse me, a real gentleman. Assuming you work in the golf industry in China, (or one of those for rich man's club), I just happen to know a thing or two about golf in china, there is a significant difference between the golf circles in China and in the west. Golf in china is a rich man's sport. It is more for entertainment and show-off. In the west, it is a sport and recreation for everyone. You can play a run of golf for 20 bucks. The quality of the golfers in China and in the west, including personality and attitude towards golf and towards people who work in this industry, like you, could be significantly different. You may feel being treated unfairly sometimes by some of your customers. But it is very unlikely to happen here.
Golf for me is a pastime, for you is a full time job, the people you and I meet on the golf courses can be a world difference.
PS, I just happened to wear a pair black socks that day. And I do not give it a shit about how others think about it in general. What is important is what you have, not what others think you have.
Also, take this (advice) from me:
take it easy, girl, take it easy. Life is good if you always have a positive attitude.... Most of the Haiguineters who come to here are for fun, for fun ONLY.

Also, world peace pls !!!!
I just happen to feel the same like you, some people who play golf in China are the disgrace of this fascinating sports. (also dislike the koreans, etc).
