Patricia Russo was appointed president and CEO of Lucent in January 2002 and ADDED the post of chairman in February 2003.
Is there a Lucent way of doing things? Russo's return is evidence that Lucent has not learned anything, that it went right back to its well and did not take advantage of the opportunity to find new blood.
BTW,Russo was paid $1.2 million in base salary and a BONUS of $3.24 million in 2003!
Meanwhile, Lucent is seeking shareholder approval for a REVERSE stock split(1-for-10, 1-for-20, 1-for-30 or 1-for-40, yet to be determined.)
