2003国庆节前主任发了这么一个帖子：
“睡不着啊！巨想孩子们。。。巨想家。。。
真不想干了！图什么呀！成就的代价太大了，何况还没什么成就呀！真是心比天高，命比纸薄！天生受累的命，连孩子们也跟着我这个当妈的受累，真够差劲的！
唉，有谁需要临时BABYSITTER的请找我，我一定随叫随到，只能借别人的孩子过过隐了。”
俺在国庆节那天回了这个帖子：
Strongly echo Xxxxxxx.
Over a year ago, I came back to Beijing, leaving my wife and one-year-old son behind in San Francisco. Looking back, I keep asking myself: is it a wise decision? Over the year, I was running all over the country and all over the world －－ in September alone, I spread myself over 8-9 countries/regions – but together with my family for less than one month. For my boy, daddy is just a voice over the phone －－ "爸爸在电话里", he said. Although he would run to grab the phone, all he would answer was shoutings of "daddy".
Several days ago, while I was preparing for the US trip in the National holidays, I went to the Children's Store at Wang Fu Jing. But, surrounded by floors of floors and shelves of shelves of toys and clothes, I was lost. I don't know what he likes, what he doesn't like； I don't know what toys are appropriate, what are not； I don't know what size of clothes fits him, what doesn't. I came out, empty handed, but full of sadness and guilt.
Even worse, several days ago our Korean client said that we had to follow Korean calendar. I had to cancel all the vacation plans and the trip back to the US, working alone in the empty office. When I called back, my boy said: "不给爸爸打电话" – he rather played with computer.
Probably time to quit and go back.
